What: Touchcreen Voting Equipment Open House Where: Yuba County Board of Supervisors' Chamber Government Center 915 8th Street, Marysville, California When: Saturday, April 29, 2006 - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Yuba County Division will host an Open House to provide the public with an opportunity to use the new DRE (Direct Recording Election) equipment which will be in use for the June 6, 2005 Primary Election in Yuba County. The public will be able to actually vote a demonstration ballot and take as much time as they wish to feel comfortable with the new voting equipment. Staff will be available to assist, if necessary, and answer questions as they arise. New residents, or residents who need to re-register, will be able to register to vote at the same time
